New Book: LOOK AGAIN: Where Gratitude Begins — A 30-Day Reflective Journey

What Have I Been Carrying?

There are moments when nothing is visibly wrong, yet the mind feels unusually heavy.

The thoughts may not be loud, but they are often unstructured. They move through the mind repeatedly, competing for attention without ever finding a place to settle.

Sometimes the mind does not need more thinking. It needs clarity.

Take a quiet moment with your journal and reflect on this question:

What have I been carrying that would become lighter if I wrote it down honestly?

Do not try to make your answer perfect. Do not edit it before it reaches the page. Simply allow yourself to name what has been occupying your thoughts.

You may discover that writing does not immediately change the situation, but it changes your relationship with what you are carrying. What felt tangled within you begins to take shape before you.

Your journal can become a space where thoughts are no longer competing to be heard. They can be examined, understood, and gradually released.

Journal Further

  • What thought has returned to me repeatedly this week?
  • What have I struggled to explain to myself or someone else?
  • What am I afraid I may discover if I slow down long enough to reflect?
  • What truth do I need to acknowledge honestly today?

Pause. Reflect. Write.

Welcome.

This is a space for reflection,
gratitude, and intentional living.

My prayer is that every visit leaves
you inspired to look again at the
beauty all around you.
